I refer to my paintings as "Mystic Symbolism of the Divine Feminine" .

Creation is the Divinity within each of us: It is as close as any of us will come, it is also an act of the feminine, the birther, the nuturer, guardian and fierce protector of all life.
My paintings speak to the sub-consious and stir the soul.

The contemorary definition of art is as varied as the sources, and an artist's interpretation of their art is true and valid to them alone. On my journey to become an artist, I found that for my art to resonate true to myself, that it had to be a very personal declaration from the very depths of my being, co-created within and birthed on the canvas to find a life of it's own. I have a very strong connection to my paintings: they become an extension of my psyche.

My inspiration is life experience; cellular and genetic memories, the drive for self-expression and  emotional release, combined with the desire to trace my co-creativity to its source.
Most of my paintings emerge in creative flow. The technical application of the medium and colors used are an integral part of the process, combined with that unknown urgent need to bring forth , these are the forces that produce the resulting images and subject elements.
My paintings are unique: they make a statement and cause a reaction, whether positive or negative, it is all the same as long as they cause the viewer to pause and ponder.

My hope is that while browsing through my images; that you my honored guest, will connect to some special dormant ancient memory deeply buried within you.
